Ringo Starr to play with All-Starr Band at the Wharf on July 4

Nearly 60 years later, Ringo Starr is still living his dream — playing music on stage.

“Since I was 13, I’ve wanted to play drums, and that’s what I’m doing,” he said in a brief phone interview Saturday. “I’m going to play as long as I can still hold the sticks. I’m doing what I’ve always wanted to do.”
