Scarlet Event to shine spotlight on HIV/AIDS during tonight’s LoDa Artwalk

From 6 to 9 p.m., the Scarlet Event will be held to raise awareness about the treatment and prevention of AIDS and HIV, and to celebrate the life force of those infected and affected by the illnesses. It is the first such event to be held in Mobile, and is a part of World AIDS Day events that started on Dec. 1, according to organizers.
