Hangout Festival wrapping up on cool, comfortable note with few arrests, medical issues

“It’s a good crowd and the weather has cooperated,” said Grant Brown, spokesman for Gulf Shores. “The crowds have been big but very well behaved with very little police activity. There’s been some minor drug possessions, things that you would typically see unfortunately, but nothing out of the ordinary. So it’s actually be a pretty good event.”

Gulf Shores releases road, beach closing schedule for Hangout Music Festival

With the Hangout Music Festival expected to swell Gulf Shores’ population fourfold late next week, organizers and city officials have revised traffic patterns to ease vehicle and pedestrian congestion as much as possible.
